W.A. Threadgill Directory

My name is Lydia Howell. I have been the counselor at Threadgill Primary since 2024. I began my career in education in 1996 as a kindergarten teacher. I look forward to working with our students at Threadgill this year.

Mrs. Adcock has taught first grade at TPS since 2022. She is LETRS certified and is currently earning her masters degree in Elementary Education from UNA. In her free time, Mrs. Adcock enjoys walking her dog as well as supporting Alabama football and basketball.

I'm Debra Brown. This is my first year at Threadgill Primary. I was born and raised in Florence. I have been away for 20 years and have finally moved back home for good. I have been teaching for 17 years, My time as a teacher has been in  Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade with most being in Kindergarten. I look forward to teaching here at Threadgill. 

Hi, My name is Chloe'. I am the Speech Pathologist Assistant for Sheffield City Schools. I attended college at the University of Montevallo! I became an employee of this district in 2022. I look forward to teaching students their articulation and language skills!

Mrs. Cabler was born and raised in the Shoals, first graduating from the University of North Alabama with a bachelor's degree in 2002, and then graduating from the University of North Carolina with a Master's Degree in Reading Education in 2014. She has been married for 23 years and has (2) dogs, (2) cats, and an axolotl. She loves children, animals, reading, cooking, history and historical research, chocolate, and dark coffee!! She especially loves Threadgill and the Sheffield Bulldogs!!  Goooooo Dogs!

My name is Allyssa Carbine. This is my 15th year in education. I have taught grades Pre-K to 3 for 13 years. I previously taught internationally before moving back to the United States for 7 years in New Zealand, Abu Dhabi, British Virgin Islands, and Morocco. I am excited to be starting my 2nd year as a local reading specialist for Kindergarten and 1st grade at TPS!

My name is Shannon Casiday, and I have been teaching at Sheffield City Schools since 2023. I am the head softball coach for Sheffield Jr. High and Sheffield High School. As an alumni of Sheffield High School, I love working for the school system that continues to have such a positive impact in my life.  

My name is Ally Elliott. This is my 10th year to be teaching at Sheffield City Schools. I have taught grades K-3 since I have been a teacher here at Sheffield. I am so excited to start a new adventure as the Reading Coach for 2nd and 3rd grade.

My name is Lakiyah Foster and I have been teaching since 2022. I have my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from The University of North Alabama. I currently teach Kindergarten at Threadgill Primary School

Sabrina Goodloe is beginning her11th year of teaching. She really enjoys shaping the young minds of her students with a valuable education. She creates a loving and nurturing environment where her students can thrive. She takes what she does very seriously and truly loves all her students. 

My name is Jennifer Hall. I have been married to my husband, Johnny for 27 years. We have two sons, one daughter-in-law and one Shih tzu named Gizmo. When not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, church family and crafting.

This is my 10th year teaching. This is my 7th year as a lead Pre-K teacher. This is my second full-year at Threadgill.

 My name is Sara Harrison. I have been teaching since 2022. I have been at Threadgill since 2025. I graduated from the University of North Alabama in May 2022.

My name is Ragan Hudson. I have been teaching in second grade for three years. I am so excited to have joined the Bulldog family this year! 

Hi! My name is Kristyn Landry and I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught Kindergarten, first and second grades in Georgia, Virginia, and Alabama. In 2022, I moved to Alabama and am currently the Math Coach at TPS. I graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with my elementary education degree and received my masters degree from Lesley University. I am looking forward to working with your sweet children.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, surfing, and hiking.  

My name is Erica Martinez. I have been teaching at Sheffield City Schools since 2002.  I have spent my entire career teaching here where I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades. I am also a 1996 graduate of Sheffield High School. I am excited that I get to teach these children in the city I love! GO DOGS!!

Hello! My name is Miss McFall! I have been teaching first grade for two years! I graduated from Athens State University with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. In my free time I enjoy watching sports and spending time with my family and friends. I absolutely love working in Sheffield! GO BULLDOGS!

Hi, my name is Laney Potts. I have been teaching at Threadgill since 2025. I have been a teacher since 2022. I have a bachelors in Elementary Education (K-6) from Athens State University. I am looking forward to a great year! Go Bulldogs!

I'm Brittany Proctor and I currently teach 2nd grade! We love Sheffield and the bulldog family!
